… But God PT.3

Series Verse:

Psalm 73:26 (ESV)My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Breaking Ground

Genesis 2:15 (ESV) – The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it.

Genesis 2:15 (AMP) – “So the Lord God took the man [He had made] and settled him in the Garden of Eden to cultivate and keep it.”

Psalms 139:23-24 (NIV) – “Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”

Psalms 51:10, 17 (NLT) –  “Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me. 17 The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God.”

Renewal Begins With Repentance

Sift The Soil

Isaiah 44:1-4 – “But now, listen to me, Jacob my servant, Israel my chosen one. 2 The Lord who made you and helps you says: Do not be afraid, O Jacob, my servant, O dear Israel, my chosen one. 3 For I will pour out water to quench your thirst and to irrigate your parched fields. And I will pour out my Spirit on your descendants, and my blessing on your children. 4 They will thrive like watered grass, like willows on a riverbank.

Sew The Seeds

Hosea 10:12 – Sow for yourselves righteousness; reap steadfast love; break up your fallow ground, for it is the time to seek the Lord, that he may come and rain righteousness upon you.
